A NUTRITIONAL ADJUSTMENT...

It has been known for many years that nutrition is imperative for good health. (Mom insisted you eat your vegetables for a very good reason!) Eat a proper and balanced diet, get enough rest for cells to regenerate, avoid anything in excess . . . these are the rules most of us grew up with. There is no doubt that each of us should be taking a good Multiple Vitamin to avoid and/or correct health problems stemming from dietary excesses or deficiencies.

Nutritional supplements are available in so many varieties, marketed by so many different companies, it has become a challenge just to make a decision on a multivitamin!

FACT: Everyone should be taking a Multi Vitamin.

The function of the Immune System is enhanced by balanced nutrition. Proper vitamins and minerals create an internal environment conducive to healing and maximize the efficiency of the entire metabolism.

The average American diet, with often excessive grain intake, fosters internal inflammation.

Vitamin deficiencies reduce the function of tissue healing and, in many cases, compromise cognitive and psychological functions.

Something as simple as reducing the intake of grain in your everyday diet can enhance your health by reducing tissue inflammation.

Breads, pastas, desserts and most packaged foods contain excessive amounts of Omega-6 fatty acids, gluten (to which many are sensitive) and lectins that inflame and damage the gut. Grains are also acidic and lower body pH, which can create tissue inflammation, pain and osteoporosis.

Small amounts of grain are not a problem for most of us, but simply replacing some of the grains we eat with "greens" can solve some very common nutritional problems.

FACT: Due to soil erosion and leaching from over farming land, fruits and vegetables do not have the same vitamin content today that they had 30 years ago!

Even those of us who eat a proper and balanced diet should supplement our meals with vitamins. Armed with knowledge that so many of the foods we eat are no longer as fortified with vitamins as they once were, supplements are an "insurance policy" for good nutrition.

FACT: If you take a good multivitamin, replace soda and soft drinks with water, eliminate grains as much as possible and eat more fruits and vegetables, you will likely see a big change in the way you feel.

Chances are excellent that you will lose excess body weight, gain energy and many of the aches and pains you have will disappear!
